Dry needling is a technique used to treat trigger points and myofascial pain. Dry needling is labeled by several common terms which include acupuncture, intramuscular manual therapy, and trigger point dry needling. Dr. Mann has extensive training in both dry needling and orthopedic acupuncture.
An initial consultation with Dr. Mann is required to find out if dry needling is right for you. If it is determined that you are a good candidate for dry needling, we can perform your first procedure the same day.
With Dry Needling
Quick & Painless
The procedure is quick and painless, you’re in and out of the office in 30 minutes.
Number Of Procedures
The number of procedures you will need will vary based on your pain, injury, amount of time you’ve had it, etc.
Once you are evaluated, Dr. Mann will determine a treatment plan based upon your clinical presentation and adjust as needed during the course of your care.
The Dry Needling process is repeated 2-4 times a week until maximum improvement is seen. Then a maintenance regimen is often prescribed to prevent recurrence. Maintenance may be as little as 1-2 times per month.
Absence Of Symptoms
Dry Needling can and often does result in a complete absence of symptoms, even in severe pain conditions that have been present for years.
Effective When Paired With Acupuncture
Dry Needling Therapy is most effective when paired with Acupuncture Therapy simultaneously.

Insurance companies often tend to cover treatments that don’t actually fix the problem. Because of this, we are out of network for all insurance. The good news is that you are the one in charge of which procedures you get, not an insurance company. Dry Needling treatments are very affordable.
